Why should you have a theme for the year?

Have you heard people talk about their theme for the year?

Have you wondered🧐💁‍♀️ what does it all mean?

It means FOCUS.

So why is focus important?

You have undoubtedly heard the saying

What you focus is what you get

If you don't focus on the right stuff you will get the wrong stuff. As simple as that!

If you spent the time to consider, to really explore what you want to achieve, how you want to experience life and what will make your heart 💜 sing then you have an opportunity to achieve it.

That means that you are inspired, motivated and engaged in your life.

If this is the first time you set a theme may I suggest you stick with one. Then you have great chance of achieving it because you focus on it. With time, you may want to have two or even three themes.

Let me demonstrate:

My theme for 2023 is connection.

I seek opportunities to create connections wherever I go. With the car mechanic 🧑‍🔧 With the hairdresser 💇‍♀️ With my kids

Of course the connections are very different.

The similarities are my strive to connect and the positive experience both parties have through connection.
